You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from support. Many clients come to therapy because they want a safe space to process, heal, and better understand themselves.

At this time, True North Counseling provides therapy services exclusively for adult women. This allows the practice to offer focused, specialized support tailored to women’s mental health and life experiences.

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, any concerns or goals you may have, and what support might look like moving forward. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Our office is located in New Braunfels, inside the Joyful Beginnings Clinic Building. When you arrive, you may park in the designated lot just out front of the building, and head inside Suite A. You can have a seat in the cozy waiting area and I’ll come out to greet you at your appointment time!
Most clients begin with weekly (50 minute) sessions, though frequency can vary depending on your needs, goals, and scheduling preferences. This is something we can discuss together.

PMADs stands for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. These can include postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, OCD, panic, and trauma-related symptoms during pregnancy or after birth. PMADs are common, treatable, and never something to feel ashamed of.
Sarah received additional training in perinatal mental health and is now PMH-C. (Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional)

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Recurring late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
